must become colourless while playing with colours.”

My dear brothers and sisters,
Namasthe.
The topic of the seminar is “One should become
colourless while playing with colours”.
Holi is the festival of colours. It is celebrated in
India during the month of Phalguna on the full moon
day which falls in the Feb – March of the year.
Pujya Babuji Maharaj begins the topic by talking
about the people participating in Holi as well as
onlookers and bystanders. He says that these are the
people whose temperament is inclined towards play.
The manifestation is very colourful and attractive.
Having come away from our homeland, we are all
playing with the colours and if not playing we are
charmed by the colours to such an extent that we
have forgotten the creator. Such is the power of
attraction.
A child who is on his way home, back from school,
when he witnesses a roadside show, stays there and
forgets about going home. I witnessed it during my
childhood. Unless somebody reminds us or the show
gets over, we don’t think of going back home. Here,
our Master is reminding us of our homeland now, so
that we don’t spend all the time waiting for the
show to get over which will take a very long time.
What should be our attitude while playing with
colours, is the topic of the seminar.
Is playing bad? Should we run away from it? No,
playing by itself is not bad and we need not run
away from it. We should not get affected by the
colours. The system of Natural path is for grihastas.
Here we are all taking part in the manifestation but
we should not get attached to it. While leading our
lives, our hearts should not get soiled by the
colours. We should develop due attachment. Our
attitude in Life is to live like coots and ducks in
water. All our dealings should become moderate.
How to become colourless?
It is possible by turning our attention internally
towards the heart. By meditation we get linked to
the Ultimate and by doing so regularly we attain
that which we meditate upon. Pujya Babuji Maharaj
says “if we got ourselves linked to the Ultimate,
then the colour of the same ultimate shall
pari-passu prevail in us”.
“Our object of meditation is Divine light. We
meditate upon the subtlest which is to be attained.
….. The Real light refers only to the real substance
or the substanceless substance. …. The Real light
has the colour of dawn or a faint reflection of
colourlessness.” (SS Page 430)
Our meditation on the Divine light helps us to
become colourless. “When an abhyasi meditates, his
thoughts create a vaccum in his heart which begins
to be filled up with the power of that which is
meditated upon” (SS page 5)
During our meditations when our consciousness is
lifted to higher planes, we experience that we are
delinked or unmindful of the colours of the
manifestation. When we start owning up these
conditions then we continue to remain colourless
even after the meditation sessions.
The first step in our journey is to fix up our goal.
The goal should always be in our view with a single
pointed orientation and we should become restless to
reach the destination. That should be our
aspiration.
The efficacy of PAM comes to our aid to remain
colourless while playing with colours. A person who
is lost in the play, his attention to turn towards
the creator, pranahuti helps by diverting the flow
from L to U. There starts a spiritual awakening.
We have understood the power of attraction to the
manifestation. When we started the journey back to
the homeland, the colours (temptations) are there
throughout.
Sufficient purification and regular influxes of
Pranahuti help us to develop Viveka and Vairagya.
Point A and B meditations helps in decreasing our
desire for colours and following the natural path
in-toto alone helps us to become colourless while
playing with colours.
We, the entire humanity are indebted to our grand
master “who offers an easy solution to the problem
of existence which has ever been confounding even
the greatest of the sages” (SS Page 11). Pujya
Lalaji Maharaj, in his infinite compassion and
kindness has made it possible for us to become
colourless while playing with colours. Our
salutations to Him and to Pujya Babuji Maharaj who
gave us this system of Natural path.
Let us all offer universal prayer with all sincerity
that our fellow brethren who are still playing with
colours are reminded of the colourlessness.
Namasthe.
